Step 3: Channel Settings - Discord Integration
Add Your Discord Server
Click "Add EngageOS Bot to Discord" link to connect your Discord server.
You'll be redirected to Discord's authorization page. Select the server where you want your agent to work and click Authorize.
Configure Discord Settings
Discord Escalation Account
Enter a Discord username or role (e.g., @support_team, @moderator)
When your agent can't answer a question, it will mention this user/role for human review.
Save Configuration
Click Save to apply your Discord settings.
Your agent card will now appear in the dashboard showing:
Agent name (e.g., "Maya")
Language (e.g., "en")
Connected channels (Telegram, Discord icons)
Deploy Your Agent
Click the Deploy button on your agent card.A configuration modal opens.
Copy and Paste in Discord Server where agent is added.
Your agent is now active on Discord! 🚀
How Users Interact with Your Agent
Discord Groups Only:
Your agent works only in Discord channels/groups (no direct DMs)
Users must tag the agent (@agent_name) to get a response
Example: "@Maya What are the whitelist requirements?"
Escalation:
Complex questions are automatically mentioned to your escalation account
